Crispi's Italian Cuisine
Crispi's Italian Cuisine Welcome to Crispi's Italian Cuisine

Crispi’s Italian Restaurant got its roots almost twenty years ago in February, 1985 by its owner and chef Crispi Falconeiri. Back then, it was a little restaurant called Costello’s. Fortunately, with Crispi’s vision, today it’s a fine Italian cuisine restaurant with small town charm.

Crispi’s passion for cooking began at a very young age. When he was eight years old, he recalls helping his father prepare monthly dinners for the members at the Mitchell Club in Middleboro, MA. There he learned all the basics, from planning menus to preparing the meals. Throughout his teenage years, Crispi worked in restaurants, such as Cataldi’s in Hanson, MA, handling various cooking positions.

After graduating from Norwich University in Vermont, Crispi’s enthusiasm for cooking took over. In 1984, Crispi leased kitchen space at a then local restaurant, and started his own catering business. As business grew, Crispi knew it was time to expand. Then in 1985, he relocated his operations and opened Crispi’s Italian Restaurant.

As the business continued to grow, naturally so did the family members’ involvement. Crispi’s father Ron helps out 7 days a week with prep work, while his mother still handles the bookkeeping and payroll. Crispi’s wife Laura has done everything from hosting and tending bar, to helping with the transformation of the interior. Both of Crispi’s sisters, Rhonda and Judy, can be found either hosting or waiting tables.

One thing is for sure - - the culinary art of fine Italian dining is undoubtedly found at Crispi’s Italian Cuisine!
